So today I was right near the library with Year 5, and first up was Goosebumps HorrorLand, and I think there was a burping dummy in the story … or was it just Ethan making noises?

 

Next was The Sneetch and Other Stories, and I listened to a story called Too Many Daves, where Mrs McCave had 23 sons, and guess what?  She called them all Dave!  Very confusing!

 

Then it was Tom Gates: Dog Zombies Rule, and Tom switched off when Mum started talking about family stuff at the table – so much so, that his head dropped onto his toast!

 

The Jungle Book was next, and I was introduced to Tabaqui the jackal, otherwise known as dish-licker.  That’s me!  I’m a Dish-licker too!

 

Then it was Atticus Claw Breaks the Law, which was all about the world’s greatest cat burglar who got a mysterious message asking to meet him …

 

The 65-Storey Treehouse came next, and someone had made a time-travelling machine out of a wheelie-bin!

 

Last today was Nightmare – Two Ghostly Tales, and I learned that you can help save someone from drowning if you make a balloon of water out of your pyjama top.  Now I don’t usually wear pyjamas but if I did …
