Hi there and happy new year!  There was a bit of a fishy theme going on today …

First of all, I sat near the fish tank outside Year 4KK, and I saw two fish inside.  They were blowing bubbles at me and waving their tails, so I waved back with mine.  I think one was called Elsa and the other was called Mrs Northover because that’s what it said on the sign nearby, but then again, I could be wrong.

It was just great to be back at school, and first up today, I listened to Wimpy Kid – Dog Days, where Mrs Canfield’s lawn needed mowing.  I don’t much like lawnmowers – too noisy for me!

Next up, it was Dork Diaries – Drama Queen, where Chloe’s best friend’s little sister Brianna accidentally killed her fish.  Oops!  Hope someone’s keeping an eye on the fish at school!

After that it was Bertie Wiggins’ Amazing Ears, and Bertie could wiggle and waggle his ears, plus, he looked like Prince Cecil, who just happened to be so good at sums, he was going to say his tables on TV, with the king!  Guess what happened then …!

Viking Boy was next, and Gunnar had to kill the man who killed his father, and Gauk sold Gunnar to Orme to be his slave.

Then I listened to The Fish in Room 11, where Margot was telling everyone that she’d seen a mermaid singing.  Is that true?  Do they sing?  I like singing – and I like water!  Perhaps I could be a mermaid, or a mer-dog!
