Year 5 trip to the Watercress Line

Year 5 travelled back in time on the 29th June to experience life as an evacuee during World War 2.Thery dressed up as evacuees and travelled on a steam train on the Watercress line. One child said ‘i didn’t really enjoy learning about the war until today. Now I love it1’ That’s praise indeed!!!
