The Twits Come to Calmore

This morning during assembly, two amazing actors (Mr Darch and Miss Ingram) performed a scene from The Twits by Roald Dahl as part of our whole school writing day. They showcased ‘The Worms Scene’ and Miss Ingram-AKA Mrs Twit forced Mr Twit to eat worms. (Luckily Heinz spaghetti!)

The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance and then went on to produce some wonderful writing.

Learning is so much better when it’s fun.
