A wonderful end to the half term with the Year 5/6 Boys football competition at Brockenhurst College (the previous day’s girls competition had to be cancelled due to the Year 5 residential - but we’ve got plans to arrange fixtures with other schools for the girls 👍🏻) The boys however did themselves and the school proud. Our yellows remained unbeaten the entire day…until the final game where a victory would have secured bronze. An amazing effort boys. The blues, after a slow start, clicked into their groove and a handsome 6-0 victory in their penultimate game meant they had qualified for the gold medal match. Again, they came agonisingly close to victory but lost out 1-0. But second place meant a medal nonetheless…this cloud had its silver lining. An awesome effort all round - the teams organising and sorting themselves throughout the event. Really impressive young men in the making 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
