Well it wasn’t actually too bad to be honest! As we arrived in Brockenhurst for the Y5/6 Orienteering event this afternoon, the heavens had opened and the prospect of swimming seemed more likely than running. But after a soggy start, the clouds parted and blue sky lit up a fantastic afternoon of map reading and teamwork. Two quartets of pupils from both Year 5 and Year 6 took on the course and raced around in search of hidden markers. They were brilliant and a true credit to the school - running through rain, wind and sunshine.
