Super proud of these guys! Sportshall athletics tonight and possibly one of the most daunting competitions with so many eyes on you. Our magnificent eight took part in individual running races as well as long and triple jumps, speed bounce and shot put. The meeting was finished with the girls and boy relays with each and every child giving their all throughout. They listened so well to the advice and coaching they’d received before and during the event and also showed great determination to better their individual performances. It was wonderful also to have 4 Year 6s who had competed before but 4 ‘brand new’ Year 5 pupils to experience indoor athletics for the first time. Very proud of each of you. We’ll now go away and practise again, ready to do even better at the next meeting in January.
